After reaching a milestone and having a successful anniversary concert which was flocked and lauded by thousands of fans and spectators, the award-winning primetime teleserye, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, yet again received another blessing through a win in a prestigious award-giving body.

The 38th Catholic Mass Media Awards awarded the Coco Martin-starrer with the “Best Drama Series/Program” award. The CMMA gave special recognition to FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano for its continuous offering of good values via their stories and characters who upholds awe-inspiring values.

The Idol ng Masa showed his joy and gratitude for the CMMA award. He posted a picture of the trophy and gave thanks for the award telling that these awards and recognitions continue to inspire him and the entire cast of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

According to businessmirror.com.ph, the theme for this year’s CMMA is “Communication and Mercy: A Fruitful Encounter,” based on the message of Pope Francis for World Communications Day. The CMMA was also established in 1978 by Cardinal Sin, then archbishop of Manila, as the means by which the Church pays tribute to those who “serve God by means of the mass media.”
