A father to Onyok, a dancing cop, a quirky local ‘Brad Pitt’, a clown in a children’s party, and now..a convincingly beautiful woman named ‘Paloma’. Coco Martin, is indeed doing and giving his all in the top-rating telserye, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Plus, he can be seen to be consistent and relentless in recreating and re-inventing his characters and/portrayals in the ‘Pambansang Teleserye ng mga Pinoy’.
The Primetime King recently shared with the press/media that he is a part of the creative team of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as aside from being an actor in front of the camera, he also brainstorms with the people behind the show. He shares ideas which could possibly be done by his character, Cardo – that even the current ‘Paloma-craze’ was his idea. He told the press that it was inspired by the movie ‘Taken’ but with a twist as he has to suit up for the role of a woman.

While just last January 20, 2016, he received a Certificate of Appreciation from the CIDG for his portrayal of a cop in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
“FPJ’s Ang Probinsiyano” which airs weeknights after “TV Patrol,” tells the story of Cardo, a provincial cop, who assumes the identity of his twin brother Ador, a CIDG official who was killed in a drug bust operation.
The Idol ng Masa, Coco Martin, really do continue to do better in his craft and passion. He is also apparent in being thankful for the endless blessings coming in his way not just in television but also in movies, truly the one and only Primetime King.
