Hari ng Telebisyon Coco Martin on Monday bagged CSR Impact Award: Citation for Citizen-Character Model of the Year for his portrayal as Cardo Dalisay and for his crime prevention tips (Ligtas Tips) at the TASCO’s 1st CSR Impact Awards.

Coco thanked TASCO 1st CSR Impact Awards, which “recognizes organizations for embodying the principles of corporate responsibility in their business philosophy and operations,” on his Instagram account.

“His instrumental role has been known to inspire million viewers to always make a difference to their communities,” said Mr. Joey Guinto, TASCO’s Total Quality Manager.

TASCO awards also praised Martin’s for his “successful and award-winning portrayal which continually aims to inspire and educate the community with real life lessons and crime prevention tips (Ligtas Tips).”

Ligtas Tips seeks to help regular citizens to avoid crimes and is shared through multimedia platform. It even has its own book that is available in all National Book Stores. It placed at the 8th spot in the bestseller list in May.

The CSR Impact Award: Citation for Citizen-Character Model of the Year is the 13th award Coco has received this 2017. His last award was Best Actor for Drama for FPJ’S Ang Probinsyano from the 25th KBP Golden Dove Awards.
