It was truly a night to remember as loyal fans, lively attendees and thousands of spectators of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s Isang Pamilya Tayo: The Anniversary Concert were entertained, charmed, and warmed by the cast of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano led by the Idol ng Masa, Coco Martin, and with the other ABS-CBN big celebrities.
Well-produced and fabulous song and dance production numbers from the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano cast and other ABS-CBN talented artists and performers made a huge and lasting mark as they received cheers and applause from the Araneta Coliseum crowd. Gloc-9, Daryl Ong and Klarisse de Guzman opened the anniversary concert which was followed by the recall of the awards received by the undisputed primetime show and the one and only Primetime King.
The dance floor then sizzled with the showdown of Bela Padilla and Yassi Pressman which was made hotter by the Queen of the Dance Floor, Maja Salvador, in her scorching hot performance.
Touching song performances were also present. The Idol ng Masa, Coco Martin, sang Apo Hiking Society’s “Batang Bata Ka Pa” with Awra, Onyok and other kid celebrities. While guest singers, Janno Gibbs and Ogie Alcasid sang Coco’s past teleserye theme songs together with Agot Isidro and Ayen Munji-Laurel.
Fans also shrieked with the presence of famous love teams and hot celebrities. McLisee (McCoy and Elisse), ElNella (Elmo and Janella) and the lead stars of Till I Met You, JaDine (James and Nadine) made sure that the Araneta Coliseum spectators won’t go home without feeling ‘kilig’. The crowd also cheered with the showdown of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano male stars and It’s Showtime’s #Hashtags. Charming leading men, Paulo Avelino, Richard Yap, & Cesar Montano, also put the crowd on cloud nine as they sang “Harana” and “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko”.
Entertainment quadrupled when Vice Ganda and Awra comically fought over the ‘Unkabogable Star’ title and when Coco Martin, Pepe Herrera and Vhong Navarro danced to “Pamela” and “Totoy Bibo”.
It was also the perfect time for the Idol ng Masa, Coco Martin, to give thanks to everyone who helped, trusted and supported him in his journey not just in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano but in his showbiz career. He was overflowing with gratitude as he extended and showed his heart which was full of gratitude and love. Aside from the touching tribute to the DA King, Fernando Poe, Jr., there were also early heartwarming birthday greetings for the Coco Martin and special touching ‘thank yous’ from the people who were helped and given assistance by the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano main lead, Coco Martin.
Gary Valenciano sang the finale number where the entire cast, staff and production people graced the Araneta Coliseum stage.
