EPIC! That is the first word that comes to my mind as to how I will describe this week’s saga of ABS-CBN’s top-rating longtime TV series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Just on Monday, the wedding of the decade finally happened as Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin) and Alyanna Arevalo (Yassi Pressman) sealed the deal and became a married couple. However, the peace and happiness didn’t stay long as a deranged Joaquin Tuazon (Arjo Atayde) plotted a sinister plan to destroy Cardo’s world.

And on Tuesday, we finally witnessed the most awaited clash between the hero and the outlaw and it did not disappoint because, without a doubt, it was one of the greatest fight scenes in Philippine TV ever. In a turn of events, a severely injured Cardo killed Joaquin, finally putting a stop to the madness that haunted his life.

However, it was a bit sad as we had to say goodbye to Arjo, who had been in show for so long and is one of Coco’s close friends. Arjo revealed that leaving the show was painful; nevertheless, he was thankful to his FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano family.

The life of our hero considerably brightened up as he entered a wonderful life with his family. Cardo and Alyanna now have their own child, Ricky, and they also moved to a new place to live a better life. We also got to see the TV series’ exciting new chapter that seemingly mirrored what is currently going on in the Philippines. The new cast that was also introduced such as Lito Lapid, Mark Lapid, Angel Aquino, John Arcilla, Sid Lucero, Jhong Hilario, Ronwaldo Martin, PJ Endrinal, Pokwang, and Jefrrey Tam. It’s intriguing how they could possibly change the dynamics of story and affect Cardo’s life. As much as Cardo wants his life to be peaceful, it seems that trouble always comes to him.

But nobody was prepared on what happened in yesterday’s episode. As the tears rolled down, Onyok (Simon Pineda) left the Dalisay family to be with his mother. Many fans and followers of show didn’t anticipate the exit and their reactions were swift on social media, saying they were heartbroken and will surely miss Onyok.

Still, there are a lot of events that Filipinos should look forward to in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. We are only at the tip of the iceberg in terms of story; because surely, the creative heads of the top-rating TV series have a lot of surprise in store for us. So be sure to keep watching the top-rating TV series every weekday nights.

Speaking of top-rating, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano continued to dominate nationwide, urban, and rural ratings with the strong line-up of episodes. There was some sort of threat coming from the pilot episode of Mulawin VS. Ravena but FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano didn’t hold back and delivered big blows from Monday to Friday, stomping the bird to the ground as proven by the ratings.
