Coming from his recent “Phenomenal Star of Philippine Cinema” award and his top-rating teleserye, FPJ’s Ang Probinyano, being named as the “Highest Record Television Rating by a Primetime Teleserye of All Time”, the IDOL ng Masa was once again recognized for his exceptional acting performance in FPJ’s Ang Probisnyano.

Last April 29, 2016 at the Star Theater, Star City Complex, the award-winning actor was named as the “Best TV Actor in Drama Program” by Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas in the 24th Golden Dove Awards.

“His cup runneth over”

It’s as if Coco Martin’s cup is abundantly overflowing with blessings.

At the start of 2016, the IDOL ng Masa’s Beauty and the Bestie ended its festival run by being the Highest-Grossing Metro Manila Film Festival movie. Came February, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano was named as the “Best Drama Series” by the Young Educators’ Convergence of Soccsksargen, Inc. Aral Parangal Awards 2016, and “Best Primetime Show” by Trinity University of Asia’s 2016 Platinum Stallion Media Awards. The Anak TV Awards also recognized him as the “Top Male Anak TV Makabata Star for 2015“.

While just last March, Lyceum’s UmalohokJuan 2016! Communication and Media Awards, The 4th Bataan Peninsula State University’s Kagitingan Awards, and the 14th Gawad Tanglaw Awards gave recognition to the Primetime King for his unparalleled performance for FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

This month, April 2016, has also been a grateful month for Coco Martin as after the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation’s Box-Office Entertainment Awards‘ trophy, his outstanding achievement and professionalism plus his contribution to the ideals of the Filipino people was appreciated by KBP’s Golden Dove Awards. This is the Primetime King’s third Golden Dove award after his past ABS-CBN Primetime teleseryes, Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo (2010) and Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (2011).
