Many Filipinos look forward to this part of the year as it is the time when memorable vacations take place. Summer is a time for relaxation and exploration, leaving everyone to long for unique experiences to remember. Most people may have already planned their trip to a special summer destination with the many exciting holiday options that the Philippines offers. And just like everyone, Cebuana Lhuillier endorser Coco Martin already has a few ideal places in mind. Here are his top five summer destinations this 2015:
5. Farmlands, Batangas
If you have read features about Coco in a magazine or newspaper or online sites, you would have learned that he loves to take care of plants. Coco’s house was featured in an entertainment magazine last January, and as seen in that issue, his home has a huge garden, which he takes care of himself. He is very hands-on when it comes to the maintenance of his plants. Considering his love for flora, it’s no wonder that this summer, he would love to visit Farmlands in Batangas where he can unwind and find new ideas to incorporate to his garden at home. This nature-loving person is another fascinating side of the Primetime King that no one usually sees.
4. Baguio City
If you want to escape from the summer heat in the metro, Baguio City is the perfect place to be! Coco certainly agrees as Baguio is in his list! Coco mentioned that he likes to visit the City of Pines because he loves the weather and he enjoys long drives. So consider going up North and you might be lucky enough to bump into the lovable star there this summer!
Batanes is known as one of the most popular destinations in the Philippines because of its breathtaking scenery, hospitable citizens, and peaceful atmosphere. In 2007, Coco Martin starred in a movie with Iza Calzado and Ken Zhu called ‘Batanes: Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan’. As the title suggests, the film was shot in Batanes. In one interview, Coco said that he wants to go back to the place but this time, for a vacation.
Coco Martin is one of the busiest actors in the country these days. Between doing teleseryes, movies, and endorsements, Coco somehow forgot to be a regular guy who also needs to wander. It may come as a surprise that he has never been to the beautiful island of Palawan. It’s not to say that he doesn’t want to. In fact, he would like to visit Puerto Prinsesa to see the Underground River, which is one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. And since Coco is known to be a family-centric man, he would like to visit the exotic destination with his family.
Who wouldn’t want to visit Boracay? It is the busiest and most popular island in the Philippines during summer. Because of Coco’s busy schedule for the past years, he never had any chance to visit this tropical paradise. This year, however, he wants to enjoy the beautiful island to relax and to feel the clear water and soft, white sand, placing this spectacular destination on top of his list.
There you have it, Coco’s top summer destinations. Head to any of these spots and you might just meet the Cebuana star in person, making it a truly memorable vacation.
