Last May 17, 2015, the complete list of winners for the 46th Guillermo Mendoza Box-Office Entertainment Awards was announced online. Included in the list of the special awards was Coco Martin and Kris Aquino’s Star Cinema film, Feng Shui 2. It was tagged and recognized as the ‘All-time Highest Grossing Horror Film’.

It could be recalled that the Philippine horror movie is the official entry of Star Cinema to the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival. Feng Shui 2 had a gross receipt of P235 million which eventually made it as the all-time highest grossing horror film. This movie also showcased Coco Martin’s acting skills since he showed his versatility via starring in a thriller (the Primetime King is usually seen in heavy dramas).

A month after the announcement of winners, the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Box-Office Entertainment Awards formally awarded the winners at the Solaire Resorts and Casino in Pasay City. The award for Feng Shui 2 was accepted by Jennifer D. Ching, the head of Operations and Admin of the film.
