King of Television Coco Martin was mobbed by fans eager to catch even just a glimpse of their idol as the provincial tour for his Metro Manila Film Festival film entry “Ang Panday” rolled on with its Luzon leg.
On Saturday, November 25, Coco and the rest of the “Ang Panday” cast got their provincial tour on the ground with a show at the heart of Bicolandia in Legazpi City, Albay, where a multitude of people waited for hours at the Ayala Mall grounds to catch a glimpse of their idol, the star of the long-running number one series on primetime, “Ang Probinsyano.”
The next day, Sunday, Coco and the rest of the “Ang Panday” cast headed down North, first in Dagupan City, where they held a motorcade, stopping traffic for quite a while due to the sea of people that spilled into the streets, hoping to get near them.
The “Ang Panday” cast also guested at MOR Dagupan, where Coco promoted the singles off the films soundtrack, the title track sang featuring Ebe Dancel and rap icon Gloc9, and his spritely cover of “Peksman,” which never misses to hit the mark with audiences on their mall shows when he sings it to them live
Later in the day, the Kapamilya actor and the “Ang Panday” crew proceeded with their malls show in SM Rosales, also in Pangasinan, then to SM Cabanatuan, where they also did a show before a jampacked crowd later in the afternoon.
Joining Coco in giving joy to their fans was Jake Cuenca, who played the role of the Dark Lord Lizardo in the film, as well as rappers Bassilyo and Smugglaz.
